His alternative, relaxed and fun approach to photography makes those generic, techy videos look even more boring. Quick tips, 2 minute tuesdays and fun vlogs is what makes Peters channel a great one.

GEAR REVIEWS, PHOTOGRAPHY VLOGS, COMMENTARY https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCknMR7NOY6ZKcVbyzOxQPhw The ex-face of Digital Rev TV now has his own channel! How can you not love Kai’s camera personality and enthusiasm for photography? Kai makes gear reviews (that are typically dry) very enjoyable to watch.  With those connections you know he’s always got the latest gear ready to review.

4. JOE ALLAM

PHOTOGRAPHY VLOGS, TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY, COMMENTARY https://www.youtube.com/user/AllamJoe Joe’s videos make you want to travel more! It’s not about the destination it’s about the journey. Joe with his partner Ellie go on photo walks throughout New York, London, Indonesia, Japan and more, exploring hidden places and eating the best poutine in town!

5. JESSICA KOBEISSI

PHOTOGRAPHY VLOGS, PORTRAITURE, FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY https://www.youtube.com/user/jessicakphoto Jessica’s videos are both entertaining and informative. She is the type of Youtuber where you can just sit back, watch and listen. She has various series such as “3 Photographers shoot the same model?” and “Pictures of Strangers in Tokyo”. 

6. PIERRE T. LAMBERT

PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS, TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY, CHALLENGES https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChuxvFyBYM3VtnLDz8l6vNA Pierre’s electric enthusiasm carries on throughout his tutorials, advice and entertaining photography challenge videos. He’s clear and covers topics that some channels do not. You will definitely learn something on there.

7. EVAN RANFT

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY, EDITING TUTORIALS, POV VLOGS https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtDd1HxzPTmvdwHa-cylISg Evan Ranft has elevated what it means to photography vlog. He is usually set up with multiple cameras showing you exactly what he shoots with running commentary on his thought process. His channel also has a great supply of photography advice and editing tutorials.

8. JAMIE WINDSOR

PHOTOGRAPHY PHILOSOPHY, DOCUMENTARY PHOTOGRAPHY, COMMENTARY https://www.youtube.com/user/jamiewindsor Jamie Windsor is a character that always has an interesting viewpoint on things. His videos usually have a documentary like feel and his attention to detail always makes a great watch.

There is a lack of Aussies on Youtube -, especially in the photography genre. It’s awesome to see Hayden up there with the big guns- and he deserves to be. His vlogs, edits and tutorials are always entertaining. You can tell he puts his all into all his videos.

PHOTOGRAPHY PHILOSOPHY, COMMENTARY, GEAR REVIEWS https://www.youtube.com/user/theartofphotography Ted’s vast experience and knowledge in photography are evident in all his videos. Long informative videos, in-depth gear reviews and humerous commentary make for a great subscribe. 

11. CHRIS HAU

PHOTOGRAPHY ADVICE, HACKS, TUTORIALS https://www.youtube.com/user/thechrishau I’ve been a long time subscriber of Mr Chris Hau and I can honestly say the advice he gives in his videos are definitely worth a subscribe. He covers topics from social media, making money as a creative and how to be a successful freelance photographer and filmmaker – check him out!

12. BRANDON WOELFEL

PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGES, TUTORIALS, VLOGS https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkD-9tfURAMfqyf-8U5dSxw Brandon’s edits might be the most well-known in all of Youtube. How could you ignore the bright pinks, neon blues and glossy tones of his signature portraiture? His vlogs are fun – you should subscribe.

13. THOMAS HEATON

LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY, VLOGS, ADVENTURE https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfhW84xfA6gEc4hDK90rR1Q Thomas Heaton’s videos are what landscape photography is all about. As you watch his videos and listen to his commentary you see the world through his eyes. His videos aren’t fast pace as other Youtubers but the surrounding landscape and informative tutorials are the reason I love his channel so much.
